Practical hydrogen learning enters the classroom
Latvia is gradually catching up on hydrogen education, and Valmiera Vocational Education and Training Centre has added a very tangible example to this progress. The school has installed a wind, solar and hydrogen energy simulation system, strengthening the technical base of its energy and electrical engineering education programmes and giving teachers new tools for practical training.
A useful model for vocational education
This kind of equipment matters because hydrogen skills cannot be built only through strategies, reports or high-level project concepts. Students and educators need hands-on exposure to how renewable electricity, hydrogen production and energy system integration work together.
